The school draws its students from a wide range of backgrounds and catchments throughout the north and northwest of The Pinehurst philosophy holds that a bond between family and school will achieve the best education for children, and that positive interaction between children, teachers and parents is paramount to the effectiveness of the school. Each child is treated as an individual. Progress is carefully evaluated and discussed with parents every term. Students are encouraged to set learning goals and progress at their own pace with no upper limits to their achievement. Pinehurst pursues the highest possible educational standards. The school culture promotes self-esteem, pride in individual and collective achievement, and respect for each other. Students are encouraged to take responsibility for their own actions. The Curriculum Our motto proposes that our pupils be “proud of who they are, what they know and what they can achieve”. Our class size has an upper limit of 25 children per class.
