Tel: 09 520 4159 Address: Foundation St Cuthbert’s College, which was established in 1915, is a Christian day and boarding school for 1480 girls from Year 1 to Year 13. The College accommodates 125 boarders from Year 7 to Year 13. Intake Levels The main intake levels are Y1, Y7 and Y9. The College The campus covers over six hectares of beautifully landscaped gardens with substantial trees. Outstanding sporting facilities include floodlit tennis and netball courts, a competition hockey turf, a sports centre with squash courts and a heated indoor swimming pool, outdoor pool and diving pool. A new Performing Arts Centre is due for completion in 2011. St Cuthbert’s is one of the largest wireless educational facilities in the country, running both Apple and Windows machines. The College’s remote campus, Kahunui, offers Y10 students a cross-platform, month-long experiential learning experience and aims to help the girls develop greater levels of emotional, physical and intellectual fitness. The Curriculum Innovative learning programmes underpin the St Cuthbert’s culture with all students developing a wide range of thinking strategies through our internationally recognised Thinking Skills Programme. The In Co-curricular Professional staff and coaches supported by facilities of the highest quality consistently enable St Cuthbert’s College to achieve outstanding results at regional, national and international levels in a number of sports. Music and drama contribute a great deal to the life of the College. Choirs, orchestras and productions provide students with a comprehensive range of opportunities in the performing arts.
