ISNZ regularly commissions external experts to provide reports and research on issues that are vital to our schools and the sector. These include but are not limited to:
We are partnering with Strategic Pay for the 2020 ISNZ Remuneration Survey. Strategic Pay is a leading provider of remuneration market data and provides advisory services to a number of our schools, alongside many other organisations in the education sector.
New Zealand Institute of Economic Research report
ISNZ has commissioned the New Zealand Institute of Economic Research to produce an in-depth report on the contribution private schools make to the New Zealand economy and society. This report will be very powerful and will inform ISNZ’s communications efforts and allow us to tell a compelling story.
Sector briefing on the Royal Commission of Inquiry into Abuse
In 2019, ISNZ commissioned Simpson Grierson to provide our Member Schools with a comprehensive briefing on the Royal Commission of Inquiry into Historical Abuse in State Care and in the Care of Faith-based Institutions. The briefing set out the purpose of the Inquiry; how it will run; the risks for schools; and the practical steps schools can take to manage these risks.
Somerset Financial Performance Survey
In 2020, ISNZ is funding the participation of Member Schools in the Somerset Financial Performance Survey. This survey, which has been operating for 25 years, allows schools to analyse and quantify their financial performance with benchmarking partners in over 50 ratios to identify strengths and areas for improvement.
All our Member Schools receive copies of the reports we commission. If you’d like to request additional copies of reports, please just email firstname.lastname@example.org
