Alas, the escalation of COVID-19 Alert Levels during August-September 2020, saw ISNZ regretfully having to cancel all of our scheduled Regional Meetings.
With the pandemic earlier causing cancellation of this year’s annual conference, we had rescheduled and expanded the programme for those meetings. They were to have primarily focused on growth strategies coming out of COVID-19 with specific reference to legal, banking and insurance considerations relevant to schools and a close look at the impact on independent schools and their growth strategies moving forward.
ISNZ is determined that these Regional Meetings will be held in face-to-face format as soon as possible, with the likelihood that rescheduling will best lend itself to sometime during the first term of 2021.
We will notify you as soon as possible in this regard.
We are also finalising arrangements for our speakers to provide their content in online presentation/webinar opportunities.
The current expectation is these will entail:
- Marsh – insurance market update – Thursday 29 October, 4pm-4.30pm plus 15 minutes Q&A
- ANZ – a banking perspective – Wednesday 4 November, 4pm-4.15pm plus 15 minutes Q&A
- Simpson Grierson – legal update – Thursday 12 November, 4pm-5pm plus 15 minutes Q&A
Registration information will be forthcoming.
Target audience: ISNZ member school board chairs, board members, heads/principals, bursars/business managers.
