ISNZ teachers make it to EducationHQ Unsung Heroes finals - every vote counts!

Three wonderful educators from our Member Schools have made it to the finals of the EducationHQ Unsung Heroes Awards. There are five finalists in each category, and every vote counts!

Roger Doig, Assistant Principal Curriculum Middle School from Scots College in Wellington, has been nominated in the Leader category for being a ‘reluctant hero’ and the voice of the Scots College staff. You can read more and vote for him here.

Simon Christie from Selwyn House School in Christchurch is a finalist in the Technology category, and has been nominated for his amazing work on ‘Mechatronics’, a new curriculum area for Years 1 - 8 which combines mechanical engineering, mathematics, science, technology and the arts. Carolyn Evans from Huanui College in Whangarei has been selected in the Teacher category, and is described as a ‘brave and creative leader who is incredibly caring and wants the best for people’. You can vote for Carolyn here.
