We are a co-educational Independent Anglican International Baccalaureate World School teaching the Primary Years Programme (PYP) from Preschool to Year 8.
St Mark’s has a strong tradition of musical excellence and is a leader in Primary School music both locally and nationally, known for its outstanding choral, instrumental, and classroom Music programs. We seek an experienced, passionate, and energetic Director of Music with a proven record of delivering high-quality performances, striving for excellence, and fostering a life-long passion for music in children. The ideal candidate will teach an engaging 10-year classroom music program, preparing students for success in high school and beyond. The successful candidate will have the proven ability and experience to organise and lead our school-wide music program. Proficiency in piano to accompany school events and Chapel services is desirable. Other responsibilities include overseeing the Itinerant music program, leading three school choirs, bands, and the orchestra, leading music for weekly Chapel services and serving as the MD for our biennial school production in collaboration with the Drama specialist.
