Director of Learning Technologies

Mō te tūranga: About the role  
This is a teaching position, with a 24-period time allowance to fulfil the leadership and strategic responsibilities of the role. Remuneration includes a base salary in line with your salary step, plus an additional leadership allowance of 4MU.  This is a 12-month fixed term contract role.
The Director of Learning Technologies leads digital curriculum integration across Years 7–13, oversees the academic use of key systems such as the LMS and SIS, and drives professional learning to build staff capability and confidence. The role also plays a key advisory function, supporting leaders and staff to balance innovation with usability, safety, and security, while managing resources and budgets related to teaching and learning technologies.

We are looking for a registered teacher with proven middle-management leadership experience and a strong track record in educational technology, curriculum integration, and professional development. You will bring excellent communication and relationship-building skills, deep knowledge of digital learning platforms (including Google Workspace and Microsoft 365), and a strategic mindset grounded in student learning and wellbeing.
