Job Description

We are seeking a Junior School Teacher. This is a permanent, full time role

St Margaret's College offers a unique education for girls from Year 0 through to Year 13 for boarding and day girls.  We place a strong emphasis on wellbeing and pastoral care as well as academic success. With a commitment to holistic education, balancing academic excellence with a multitude of co-curricular opportunities, St Margaret’s College encourages students and staff to discover their passions and be the very best they can be.

A St Margaret’s College education is founded on Anglican values with a focus on service and wellbeing and offered within a modern school environment promoting diversity, innovation, and sustainability. Each girl in our Junior School is nurtured to develop curiosity, confidence, and kindness; these foundations will set her up for future success and a lifetime of learning and contribution.

The Role
We are looking for a passionate teacher to join our small, but perfectly formed Junior School team. This is a rare and exciting permanent full time opportunity.

At the heart of St Margaret’s Junior School are strong, warm relationships, with our students, their families and with one another as colleagues. We believe these connections are the foundations for both happy classrooms and the best learning outcomes.

What You’ll Bring
- A passion for evidence-based teaching and learning, with experience across a range of Junior School year levels
- A commitment to being a lifelong learner who is open to reflecting, refining and growing your practice
- A nurturing, enthusiastic nature and a readiness to roll up your sleeves and get involved in the vibrant life of our school
- A collaborative spirit; we are a close team who support one another and celebrate success together

Applicants must be able to start on 25 January 2027.

If you are looking for a role where relationships, joy and professional growth are at the centre of all you do, we would love to hear from you.
