Please note that our academic year runs from August to June, which is different from New Zealand’s school calendar. We understand this may require some adjustment, and we are here to support you through the transition. We are looking for Primary Teachers to start in August 2026.

Key Responsibilities:‍

The person in this position will be highly collaborative, understanding, caring, and dedicated to support the development of the children in our school. Key tasks will include:

• Developing engaging lesson plans and curriculum aligned with the New Zealand Curriculum.
• Identifying key learning objectives and outcomes to support a personalised learning approach for students.
• Fostering a supportive, inclusive learning environment that helps students thrive emotionally, socially, and academically.
• Collaborating with fellow teachers to ensure a cohesive, well-rounded educational experience for all students.
• Maintaining open and regular communication with parents to support each child's growth.
• Participating in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.
• Planning or supporting the organisation of school events in collaboration with other staff members.
• Documenting student progress, record keeping and report writing.
• Complying with state, school, and class rules and regulations.

Requirements:‍

• Teacher certification or a bachelor’s degree in education or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience.
• Excellent understanding of classroom management, classroom activities and best practices in teaching and learning.
• Strong commitment to the New Zealand Curriculum and pedagogy.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Good spoken Māori and a strong understanding of Māori culture is a plus.
• Willingness to embrace the local culture and learn Indonesian language and customs.
• A positive, compassionate attitude with a dedication to student growth.
