Senior School Teacher Aide

Mō te tūranga: About the role‍

• Work within the Learning Support Faculty (Wairoa), supporting neurodiverse students in years 7-13 across all curriculum areas
• Build positive, trusting relationships with students, adapting your approach flexibly to meet a wide range of learning needs
• This is a 12-month fixed-term position, starting at the beginning of Term 1, 2027
• Your ordinary hours of work are 32.5 hours per week, to be carried out between the hours of 8.30am to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday, school term only

• A flexible, adaptable approach and the ability to build positive, trusting relationships with students
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, working collaboratively within the Learning Support Faculty
• No teaching qualification required - we welcome applicants from a range of backgrounds who share our commitment to inclusive education.
