Kirkham Grammar School went to Schoolblazer with the aim of closing their school shop and moving to an online provision. A list of current partner schools was provided to Kirkham Grammar School as references. This allowed the school to source feedback directly from their peers and learn much more about the change over process from unbiased sources. For example, initially the school wanted to retain samples to try on; staff atone of their peer schools encouraged them to go 100% online and trust Schoolblazer’s Intelligent Sizing system. Though the primary reason for moving was a shift to online, an upgrade in the quality of the uniform and sportswear presented an exciting opportunity. Even where items remained the same in appearance, for example retaining the traditional navy blazer and crest, the quality has been improved, using British wool for the blazer.
