To date ISNZ has delivered 112 hours of professional learning, development, and networking to 647 delegates across the independent school sector. This reflects a busy and highly engaged year of capability building, with 25 separate events delivered so far, including webinars, networking forums, full day seminars, and specialist workshops. The average Net Promoter Score (NPS) across all PLD in 2026 sits at 65.7, indicating consistently strong satisfaction and value for participants.

Health and Safety Seminar
This seminar provided updated guidance on compliance, risk management, and emerging issues in school safety. Delegates valued the clarity of advice and the opportunity to discuss real world scenarios with peers.
New and Aspiring Principals Seminar
Designed to support those stepping into senior leadership roles, this seminar focused on strategic leadership, communication, and navigating the complexities of principalship. Participants appreciated the practical frameworks and collegial discussion.
Aon Financial Governance Workshop
Facilitated by John Somerset, this workshop equipped leaders with tools to strengthen financial decision making and sustainability. The workshop achieved 100% recommendation from attendees and an overall satisfaction rating of 4.9 out of 5.

Teacher Symposium
Held at Saint Kentigern Boys’ School, this two day teacher led event brought together 66 delegates for practical classroom insights, networking, and sector connection. The Symposium achieved an NPS of 48, considered a strong result for a practitioner focused event. Feedback emphasised the value of learning from peers,

Pastoral Care and Wellbeing Seminar
This seminar addressed neurodiversity, self regulation, mental health first aid, and legal responsibilities. Delegates praised the relevance and expertise of speakers,
“I took away some really useful information… viewing the perspectives of neurodiverse students was very insightful.” The event achieved an excellent NPS of 68.
