We are delighted to announce that registrations are now open for the 2026 ISNZ Teacher Symposium.
This two-day event is designed for teachers, by teachers, offering a rich opportunity to share practical insights, strengthen classroom practice, and connect with colleagues from across the school sector.
The programme spans a wide range of timely and practical themes, including:
• Teaching and learning in an AI-enabled world – from introducing AI curricula and building AI literacy to rethinking pedagogy
• Student wellbeing, motivation, and engagement – including positive psychology, mindfulness, and strategies for an “always-on” generation
• High-performance and inclusive learning cultures – with a focus on ensuring every student can achieve at a high level
• Practical classroom strategies – such as making student thinking visible, using the arts to build confidence, and teaching through creative approaches like satire
• Professional growth and collaboration – including coaching models, teacher-led discussions, and an unconference session shaped by participants
Across the programme, teachers will hear from colleagues sharing real, evidence-informed practice, take part in interactive sessions, and engage in rich professional dialogue.
We would greatly appreciate your support in forwarding this invitation to your teaching staff and encouraging them to attend. It promises to be an engaging, practical, highly relevant professional learning experience.
