The Role
We are currently seeking an inspiring and enthusiastic Accounting Teacher and Curriculum Leader to teach from Year 9 to 13. The teacher needs to meet and extend the needs of their learners through sound NZ curriculum teaching, strong pedagogical practice including digital technology, blended learning, and differentiation. Demonstrated experience of teaching Accounting is required. Knowledge or experience of Business studies and/or Social studies is an advantage. This position is to cover a period of parental leave.
The position is based on site at St Margaret’s College, 12 Winchester Street, Merivale, Christchurch, travel will not be required. This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week Monday to Friday.
Applicants must be able to start from 14 July 2025 (optional earlier start date if available) and work through to 17 July 2026, fixed term, to cover for a period of parental leave.
