Te Tūranga | The role  
We’re looking for a dedicated Boarding House Supervisor to support students from Year 7 to Year 13 in a safe, structured, and caring residential environment.

Working varied hours from Wednesday to Sunday during term time, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our boarders feel safe, supported, and engaged. As the go to person on weekends, you’ll make decisions in the absence of the Boarding Manager — whether it’s approving leave, liaising with contractors, or keeping parents informed.

We offer the option of live-in accommodation, giving you the opportunity to be part of the boarding community while enjoying the convenience of living on-site in central Wellington.

Ngā haepapa | The responsibilities
From supervising daily routines to planning fun and inclusive weekend activities, you’ll help create a home away from home for our students. You’ll ensure all activities are safe and well-organised, including completing risk assessments.

You’ll bring the integrity and mana to establish clear boundaries while building trust and rapport with our students.

He kōrero mōu | About you
You’re a friendly, reliable, and approachable person with strong communication and interpersonal skills. You have proven experience working with young people and can work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
