We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Digital Ambassador – AI and Digital Innovation to lead our school into the next era of future-focused education.  This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced educator who is passionate about emerging technologies, artificial intelligence, and transformative teaching practices. You will be instrumental in building a culture of digital innovation across the school, supporting both staff and students to thrive in an AI-enabled world.

As our Digital Ambassador, you will:
• Lead the integration of AI tools (such as Google Gemini) and digital platforms into teaching, learning, and school operations.
• Design and deliver engaging professional learning opportunities for staff.
• Champion digital literacy, ethics, and AI readiness across the school community.
• Work collaboratively with leadership to shape future digital strategy and policy.
• Support students in developing digital fluency, ethical AI use, and innovation skills.
• Contribute to educational research, strategic infrastructure planning, and the development of a robust digital learning culture.

This role may also include a classroom teaching component, tailored to your subject area and strengths, negotiated upon appointment.

What We’re Looking For
• A qualified, New Zealand-registered teacher with recent New Zealand classroom experience preferred.
• Demonstrated expertise in AI tools (e.g., Google Gemini, ChatGPT) and educational technology.
• Proven experience in delivering staff training and leading digital innovation.
• Strong grasp of digital ethics, academic integrity, and online safety.
• Confident collaborator with excellent communication and mentoring skills.
• A growth mindset and passion for empowering others to embrace technology.

• Remuneration: Competitive salary aligned with qualifications and experience. Additional allowances may be considered for outstanding candidates with significant leadership or digital transformation experience.
