He kōrero mōu | About you
This role requires a skilled Year 7 to 13 Digital Technology teacher to deliver a stimulating learning and teaching programme. The ability to teach Computer Science or Electronics/Mechatronics, or a willingness to upskill in these areas would be an advantage.
You will bring:
• An ability to teach HTML/CSS, PHP: MySQL, programming
• A willingness to be part of change - helping to drive innovation and deliver a future focused Digital Technology programme at QMC. This may involve developing industry partnerships
• A passion for teaching and learning, with high expectations for student achievement
• A commitment to fostering an inclusive and diverse learning environment
• Personal qualities of integrity, courage, resilience, respect, and generosity
• New Zealand teacher registration (or be working towards it), or be in the process of completing teacher training in New Zealand
