Christ’s College was established in 1850 and with a current role of 739 is currently New Zealand’s only independent school for boys, catering for Years 9 to 13.

The College has a proud Anglican heritage, with an emphasis on classical education, expansive offerings across cultural, sport and co-curricular programmes and a House system that provides the boys with a sense of belonging and purpose. Boarding has been at the heart of Christ’s College for more than 160 years and is fundamental to its operation and mission; ‘Each boy at his best’. The College’s three Boarding Houses are located at the centre of the campus.

We are seeking an experienced leader with excellent interpersonal skills to foster team cohesion and develop professional relationships by working alongside key stakeholders. The successful candidate will have developed commercial acumen and proven strategic management skills in supporting philanthropy. We are seeking a consummate communicator who is adept at community engagement and who can confidently promote the College brand. College champions excellence and continuous improvement.

Specifically, the role’s focus is the management of the strategic and functional operations of College’s community engagement, enrolments, donor and sponsorship relationships, as well as internal/external communications. The successful candidate will have a sound understanding of the New Zealand education climate particularly as it relates to the independent school sector.

The position reports directly to the Executive Principal.
