Te Tūranga | The role
As an Early Childhood Kaiako, you will play a key role in delivering a high quality, responsive curriculum that reflects the principles of Te Whāriki. You’ll work collaboratively with our passionate team to create a rich learning environment that supports children’s wellbeing, curiosity, and growth.

You will:
• Plan and implement a play based, inquiry-led curriculum aligned with Te Whāriki.
• Foster strong relationships with children, whānau, and colleagues.
• Observe, document, and assess children’s learning and development.
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive team culture.
• Support transitions to school and promote lifelong learning foundations.


He kōrero mōu | About you

You will bring:
• A recognised ECE teaching qualification and current NZ teacher registration
• Proven experience in delivering high quality early childhood education
• Deep understanding of Te Whāriki and its application in practice
• A warm, professional, and collaborative approach
• Commitment to continuous learning and reflective practice
