Mō te tūranga | About the role: From local field trips to our exciting annual EOTC Camp Week, you’ll be the driving force behind the safe, seamless, and inspiring delivery of all EOTC activities across the school. You’ll: • Coordinate and oversee all school EOTC events, including day trips, overnight excursions, and the much-anticipated camp week. • Manage Health & Safety requirements to the highest standard. • Collaborate with staff, students, and external providers to make every trip memorable and meaningful. • Lead the planning and logistics, keeping everything on budget, on time, and on track. This role is at its busiest between November and March (school term time), but you’ll have the support of an EOTC Administrator to help with the detail. Ngā pūkenga me whai | We’re looking for someone with: • Top-notch communication and relationship-building skills. • Strong organisational and time management skills (EOTC experience is a bonus). • Calm, solutions-focused thinking under pressure. • Project management skills, with budget and timeline know-how. • Knowledge of the Health & Safety at Work Act 2015 and Ministry of Education EOTC guidelines. • An Outdoor Education or teaching qualification (and ideally an understanding of how EOTC links to the curriculum). • Bonus points for Duke of Edinburgh Award programme management experience.
