An opening has arisen within Saint Kentigern Girls’ School for a Head of English and Teacher of Year 7&8 to join our team.
As Head of English, you will provide leadership in this curriculum area across the school, with the aim of optimising student learning and academic outcomes. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher and capable educator who is passionate about girls’ education to join our wonderful school.
Requirements:
- Leadership of the English curriculum
- Experience teaching English
- Recent professional development in Literacy
- New Zealand Teacher Registration
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree
- Relevant Teaching Qualifications
- Strong organisational, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
- Collaborative, enthusiastic team player
- Willingness to uphold the special character and culture of Saint Kentigern and commitment to the co-curricular sports programme of the Girls’ School
