We are looking for a part time Junior School Chaplain to start in Term 3 (21st July) 2025. This is part time role of up to 20hrs spread across the 7-day timetable with room for flexibility.
As Assistant Chaplain, you will assist with leading chapel services, designing new liturgies, fostering active participation in worship, and working with teachers to provide prayer times and prayers spaces in classrooms. You will share responsibility for Service Learning and assist in nurturing the wellbeing of our community.
You will be:
• Promoting and embodying Anglican spirituality in all aspects of school life
• Planning, leading, and innovating chapel services
• Collaborating with school leadership and community agencies
• Encouraging student involvement in spiritual and service opportunities
• Committed to being part of a friendly, collegial, and supportive environment
You’ll have:
• Strong interpersonal skills and a people-centred approach
• Experience in Christian ministry with children is highly valued
• Commitment to creating a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment within the Junior School
