The Opportunity:
- Role: Performing Arts Administrator
- Commencing: Term 1, 27th January 2026
- Hours: 9:00 am – 1:00 pm (20 hours per week)
- Schedule: Term Time Only (5 days per week)
- Location: Southwell School, Hamilton
What You'll Be Doing:
You will be the vital administrative backbone, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our vibrant co-curricular Performing Arts programmes. You will professionally handle all tasks assigned by the Director of Performing Arts, in conjunction with the Director of Music and the Director of Instrumental Music.
Key responsibilities:
Program Coordination: Supporting the Directors with the coordination and successful running of all Performing Arts Programmes, including the efficient administration of our successful itinerant music programme involving outside tutors.
Administrative Support: Providing essential curricular and extra-curricular support to the entire Performing Arts Faculty.
Event Facilitation: Providing crucial administrative assistance for all major Performing Arts events on the school calendar, such as the Southwell Opera, performance evenings, and All Hallows Chapel events.
Community Connection: Communicating essential and engaging Performing Arts information clearly to the wider Southwell School Community.
Resource Management: Creating, maintaining, and updating a comprehensive, organised catalogue of the faculty’s extensive resources (costumes, props, instruments, books, CDs/DVDs).
Facility Support: Assisting Performing Arts staff with the maintenance, upkeep, and purchasing of new equipment for the Performing Arts Centre (PAC) and departmental resources.
