A Strong Start to the Year
It’s been a busy and exciting year for the SchoolDocs team. Wecontinue to support over 2,100 schools with robust and reliable policy content, including half of all ISNZ member schools. Our goal remains the same: to give you confidence in your policies, so you can stay focused on leading learning.
Behind the scenes, we’ve been working on two major developments:
· Enhancing the SchoolDocs platform and user experience: we’ll be releasing new features for easier access, stronger security, and more control of your content and users.
· Expanding into the early childhood education sector (ECE): we’ll be bringing our trusted policy service to ECE centres across Aotearoa.
Better Access, Smarter Tools
Over the next few months, we’re planning to release a series of platform upgrades and new features. We’re starting with secure, individual logins, initially for site administrators, and then available to all other users.
This change is the foundation for a range of new features we’re rolling out later this year, including:
· A more personalised user experience
· Clearer reporting for administrators/leaders on who is accessing policies
· Greater control over user permissions
· Show/hide functionality for specific policies
· Better document management tools
We’ll be in touch with our subscribing schools directly to guide you through the steps needed to action the login changes. Our aim is to make the transition smooth, and ensure you can unlock even more value from your SchoolDocs site.
ECEDocs: Extending Our Expertise to Early Childhood Education
We’re thrilled to announce the launch of ECEDocs, a new policy service designed specifically for early childhood education centres. ECEDocs will go live in Term 4, and our waitlist is now open.
If you school has an attached preschool, works closely with local ECE providers, or simply sees value in consistent policy management from early childhood education onwards, join our waitlist, or help us to spread the word.
ECEDocs brings the same trusted, time-saving approach to policy management that schools know and rely on, tailored to the complex needs of the ECE sector. We’re building it to reflect the latest licensing criteria requirements, and will continue to respond to all of the current regulatory updates as they roll through.
