As 2025 draws to a close, Tour Time celebrates another year of empowering schools to deliver safe, enriching travel experiences that inspire learning and connection beyond the classroom. From music and sports tours to cultural and service trips, we’ve supported schools across New Zealand in creating journeys that are not only memorable, but meaningful - for students, staff, and school communities.
One of the year’s proudest milestones was the appointment of our Managing Director, Brent Imrie, as President of the Student & Youth Travel Association (SYTA) - the global authority for student and youth travel. For school leaders, this means your travel partner is helping shape international standards in student travel. Brent’s role reinforces Tour Time’s reputation as a trusted operator, committed to excellence and best practice on a global scale.
Because we work with students, their health and safety is at the heart of everything we do. To support this commitment, Brent also serves on SYTA’s Health & Safety Committee, leading the development of a global framework to raise safety standards across the industry. For your school, this translates into peace of mind: every Tour Time trip is backed by rigorous risk assessments, comprehensive insurance, TAANZ financial bonding, and 24/7 support - ensuring your staff and students are well cared for, every step of the way.
Much like a diverse school community, a truly successful organisation has strength at every level, and Tour Time is no different. Behind every tour is a team of experienced, passionate professionals who bring deep industry knowledge and a commitment to excellence. From itinerary design to risk management, our team works collaboratively to ensure every trip meets the highest standards of safety, educational value, and logistical precision.
With over 31 years in business, Tour Time was Australasia’s first Certified Student Travel Organisation (CSTO), and we continue to lead with a proactive, detail-oriented approach to planning. Because people make a difference, every school group is offered the option to travel with one of our professional Tour Managers - experienced, on-the-ground support who handle coordination and problem-solving, allowing teachers to focus on building relationships and delivering impactful learning experiences.
Looking ahead to 2026, Tour Time remains committed to partnering with New Zealand’s independent schools to deliver travel experiences that are safe, seamless, and transformative. With a strong year behind us and exciting plans ahead, we’re here to help your school explore the world with confidence, connection, and care.
